At the shore is a fenced archaeological site, open to the public. You can walk on a visitors' path with helpful information boards, also enjoying the beauty of the nature which inspired the ancient Greeks to worship their deities in this area. - The sanctuary was discovered during the digging for the construction of a hotel in 1968, but the temple and the area to the east of it were already severely damaged by ditches.
